The positive role that ART plays
Whether you are purchasing art for its delicious aesthetic or personally diving into the process of creating something magical in the studio, I truly believe that art has a positive effect on your mental health.
“A well-curated art collection can add emotional depth and richness to a home. Art is an investment in beauty, a celebration of humanity’s achievements and a reminder that life is precious.”

I pinch myself when I am welcomed into a collectors home and invited to view my work thoughtfully positioned on the wall by the client, and then provided with feedback regarding the joy that the work provides them each day. Feedback that owning and displaying art creates a sense of pride and joy is just wonderful. Additionally, art can provide a story, a means of expression for the owner, can act as a conduit or icebreaker for those that visit the home. At the end of the day, art in a home or work space can provide connection.
Getting creative in any way has its mental health benefits. Consider the ‘flow’ state. The flow state in art refers to a mental state of complete immersion and focus in the creative process. With this, the Artist experiences a sense of timelessness, momentarily disengaged from stressful thoughts and feelings.
Consider how art can transform a space, add a touch of elegance, be a mood booster in general. Building a visual story in your personal space for yourself or with another ‘someone special’ that can be passed down for generations is thrilling, meaningful and nourishing.
