“This upcoming exhibition translates my emotional response to the ocean from an aerial and ground level perspective. The event coincides with the arrival of 7 newly framed paintings by Sydney Framing. These works have been commissioned as a series and will be shortly sailing off to Hamilton Island. This series has been 7 months in the making and it will be just brilliant to be able to share the outcome with the audience.
As my ocean series is mostly seen in my studio as ‘works in progress’ when people visit the gallery, this exhibition will be a celebration and thank you for the continuous support from art lovers near and far.
Showcasing a range of mediums, this body of work will explore various studio processes in order to visually represent an experience or a place, namely Tamarama, Wollongong beach, Coogee Beach and Sydney Harbour from ground level and an aerial perspective.” - Melony Kara Smirniotis
Whilst the current commissioned paintings will be not be for sale, several of the exhibited works will be available for sale. This exhibition also offers an opportunity to arrange future commissioned work.
